Responsibilities

Researches for a new solution to reduce natural gas consumption and CO2 emissions by optimizing overall energy consumption and identifying synergies in heat utilization and circularity through waste recovery.

Researches emerging technologies for the production of green hydrogen and oxygen through the development of anion exchange membrane electrolysers (AEM) and the development of proton membrane electrolysis cell (PCEC) electrolysers. It also investigates the development of technologies for capturing CO2 from industrial emissions, as well as their integration into intensive industrial processes for their decarbonisation.

Researches ceramic materials for ceramic membranes in electrocatalysis processes in PCEC for hydrogen generation, as well as the use of said hydrogen in frit fusion processes to reduce emissions. Additionally, he is researching carbon dioxide capture processes and their integration in fusion furnaces.

Researches into furnace heating systems that use renewable energy sources and energy efficiency systems to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by at least 50%.

Researches and develops a new power electronic solution that allows reinforcing the current solutions of electrolysis plants and melting furnaces.

Researches into a new CO2 absorption technology using TAMOF-1 on an industrial scale in the form of pellets or granules, which are mechanically stable and resistant to stress.

Researches and develops a new generation of electrochemical cells that allow water electrolysis in a highly energy-efficient manner and under milder conditions (temperatures below 600 °C).
